Corona Virus Update — Company Hotline for COVID 19 is 877 342 3908

Exposure Update – There were no additional cases to report from over the weekend, also there is no additional details to report on the employee that was being monitored for COVID-19 like symptoms; they still have not been confirmed to date. However, this employee has not been at work in weeks

Blood Drive – Blood Donations will be taken in the B/157 cafeteria on Wednesday May 13th during the hours of 8:00 am thru 12:30, remember to Register as indicated on the attached flyer.

Symptom Checking – as has been reported, LM Space employees as well as vendors, are to self-check their symptoms prior to coming into the facility. Temperature checking stations are located at all Bay Area locations; B/202 Palo Alto, B/602 SCF, the Visitors Center SVL see Fig B below, there will not be a testing station in B/157 as previously reported. If a temperature of 100.4 is indicated you are to go home and contact the hot line.

Masks -The company has mailed masks to LM space employees. Check your mailboxes. Let us know if you have not received yours by early next week. Your official address of record is where they will be sent; Check/Update your address of record. The company also has disposable masks for employees as needed. The Union masks are on order and due to backlog issues, we are not sure precisely when they will arrive, we will be checking this week. According to the recent SCC order all employees have to wear masks on Company grounds. New hires will receive masks as part of their new hire packet.

Thermometers – Reusable strip type thermometers were mailed late last week and are currently arriving at your address of record. See Fig. A below. Let us know if you have not received them. New hires will begin receiving the strip thermometers as part of their new hire packet. If you are a recent hire within the last month, the Company is shipping some strip thermometers to the Bay Area for distribution. If you fall into this category, please let your committee know.
Misting – Misting operations were performed in B/149 on Saturday, B/171 on Sunday, and B/076 prior to work in the morning on Monday. The next areas scheduled are in B/158 this Friday through Sunday.

Remember the following:
If you feel sick, stay home and call the hotline number above
Social distancing – keep at least 6 feet between you and others when possible including lunch & breaks
Wash your hands frequently for at least 20 seconds
Try not to touch your face or your eyes
For those who are not sick and don’t feel comfortable at work, discuss this with your manager and take time off – using Unpaid, Paid Absence Leave or Vacation, if approved

The process for those who don’t feel well is to call the Hotline and discuss how you feel. If you are directed to self-quarantine, a notice will be sent to your manager and your labor relations business partner.

The Union and the Company are clearly working together to make sure you are safe on the job. We will continue to post bulletins after meetings.
