Corona Virus Update — Company Hotline for COVID 19 is 877 342 3908

Exposure Update – No additional cases of COVID-19 exposure involving employees having prolonged contact with infected people were reported. About the two members that were asked to stay home last week; one has returned to work the other is remaining out on personal leave.
$500.00 awards – are still on schedule for May 1st, 2020. Recipients received an email notice on Friday and can check their direct deposit. We will review any concerns we receive from the membership.
Masks -The company has mailed masks to LM space employees. Please remember to check your mailboxes. You will be receiving two shipments over the next few days. Additionally, emails have been sent to instruct you on the proper use of masks this week. Check your emails/speak with your leadership for details. Currently surgical type disposable masks are available to all employees on site. Your Union masks are on order and will be coming soon – see the example below. LM Space has maintained that all personnel working at a Lockheed Martin facility (including employees, contractors, customers and visitors) should continue to wear facial coverings or masks in accordance with state and local guidance. Wear a mask and be safe.
Break Rooms – it was reported that Break rooms are continuing to be modified to comply with CDC guidelines, conference rooms are also being utilized as additional breakrooms. Let us know if your break areas need better enforcement or if additional areas may be needed to be used for breaks and lunches.
Medical Production – the company also reported that they have gone to 3 shifts producing medical gowns. Bargaining unit members have come up from Vandenberg Air Force Base to help. The company expects to produce 2100 gowns per day.
Misting – A misting schedule has been sent from facilities to the committee, there may be some modification due to production conflicts in certain areas. This misting is precautionary and not reactive. Signs will be posted when the misting is to be performed. Please clear your desks of personal items or drinking cups prior to your area being serviced.
Hand Sanitizers at SCF, hand sanitizer stations are showing up in some of the buildings, if you need one contact facilities. Facilities should also be contacted if refills are needed.
Survey – the company will be surveying some LM space employees about comp[any communications regarding the Covid 19 virus, check your email and participate in the survey if you wish.
Remember the following:
If you feel sick, stay home and call the hotline number above
Social distancing – keep at least 6 feet between you and others when possible including lunch & breaks
Wash your hands frequently for at least 20 seconds
Try not to touch your face or your eyes
For those who are not sick and don’t feel comfortable at work, discuss this with your manager and take time off – using Unpaid, Paid Absence Leave or Vacation, if approved
The process for those who don’t feel well is to call the Hotline and discuss how you feel. If you are directed to self-quarantine, a notice will be sent to your manager and your labor relations business partner.
