Corona Virus Update — Company Hotline for COVID 19 is 877 342 3908
California Governor’s announcement immediately, certain counties must close all bars, some beach parking, and indoor business operations due to the risk of infection. This applies to counties that have been on the County Monitoring List for 3 consecutive days. These closures will remain in place for at least 3 weeks. Exposure Update – no new cases of contact were reported to the Union today; the company will update us on the cases reported last week as late as Wednesday.
Caution Away From work – As you have seen over the last few months, exposure cases have, as a rule, occurred in the households where our members live. Please consider this when planning trips to the store or on weekends with your family; continue to practice safe measures as mandated by the CDC, your counties Department of health, and the Governors Office. Following these directions will keep us and our families safe at Home as well as at Work.
Misting – Misting schedule is as follows: Sunnyvale – July 9th – B/149. July 10th, – B/171. July 11th, – B/174. July 16th , – B/157 Floors 1 & 2. July 17th, B 157 – 3rd Floor. July 18th, – B/157 fourth Floor. July 19th, – 5th Floor. Santa Cruz Facility – Facilities will be applying a misting application at the Santa Cruz Facility on Saturday, July 11th from 6AM-12PM. Misting will not cover areas associated with flight hardware, test operations, research activity or high-bays. A reminder to put all personal items away such as drink cups etc. In SCF the misting will take the entire day. In Sunnyvale all misting operations occur between 0300- 0500 on the days scheduled.
Employee Phase In – Due to the increase in the coronavirus in the county, the company may be requiring employees to continue to telework for the time being, Further employee phase-in’s may also be pushed back as well.
Masks– The Company has clearly stated that the wearing of Masks in the workplace is MANDATORY. Temporary removal of masks is allowed during breaks and lunches away from other employees. If the employees you work around are not wearing masks while working; please call them on it and contact your committee members if they persist. Remember, all employees, LM Space or Contractors, have to wear masks on Company grounds. Paper masks will be available in lobbies for employees that may forget theirs at home; please take one as supplies are limited.
IAM Masks – The Union Hall is closed to foot traffic due to the corona virus; Stewards will be passing out the second IAM masks soon. contact your steward for further information.
Symptom Checking Prior to Work –LM Space employees as well as vendors, are to self-check their symptoms prior to coming into the facility. Temperature checking stations are located at all Bay Area locations; B/202 in Palo Alto, B/602 in Santa Cruz, and the Visitors Center in Sunnyvale. If a temperature of 100.4 is indicated you are to go home and contact the hot line.

Remember the following:
If someone in your household may have been in contact with someone exposed to the virus – call the Hotline
If you feel sick, stay home, and call the Hotline
If you have been traveling abroad and have returned home, call the Hotline
Social distancing – keep at least 6 feet between you and others when possible including lunch & breaks
Wash your hands frequently for at least 20 seconds
Try not to touch your face or your eyes
